Convenient to use on the go. Individually packaged in foil pack. Contains alcohol and Benzalkkonium Chloride. BZK is a known bacteria killer. It is an alcohol free organic antimicrobial compound. BZK is safe for the skin, but tough on germs. Numerous lab studies evaluating BZK within a hand sanitizer application have found that it is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria. While alcohol does kill germs, it has no persistency, once it dries (in seconds). It becomes less effective. Alcohol based product do not penetrate dirt. Alcohol based sanitizers work best when hands are washed prior to usage. BZK based products are the pragmatic choice when no soap and water is readily available.
